The Mondial will be organized by the " Fédération Colombophile Française ". The city of LIÉVIN, is situated near LENS and LILLE. It's the heart of the old mining area but now it has become green. The city will welcome the 28 th Racing Pigeon Mondial in the Regional Covered Stadium. France, land of welcome and hospitality, the North & Pas de Calais, birth place of the French racing pigeon, and the city of Liévin, are happy and proud to invite you to the great celebration of the world racing pigeon. The Regional Covered Stadium is one of the most important in Europe, due to its architecture, its capacity and its large surface! Belgium, England, Germany and the Netherlands are very near. Hotel accomodation can be found in Lens, Arras, Béthune, Noyelles-Godault, Lille. You can find everything you need to spend a dream weekend dedicated to your only passion: the pigeon. Main hall of the stadium: 9 a.m: arrival of the pigeons (standard and sporting categories) Sport: a maximum of 12 pigeons of each of the 52 countries affiliated to the ICF. The results/ The list of medal winners must be complete! Vaccination for the paramyxovirus desease and proof of it are compulsory! Control commission: Mrs TERESO, FREI-ZULAUF, SIEMER, OHTA, MOLDOVAN, DESJARDINS. Standard : a maximum of 12 pigeons for each of the 52 countries affiliated to the ICF. Regional Covered Stadium: 9 a.m. : Judgement of the pigeons of the standard category and placing of the standard and sporting ones. 2 p.m. (and all day long) : welcome of the official delegates of the different Federations by Mr De Sousa, French President and by the administrators of the FCF and of the first French region. 7 p.m. : Dinner of welcome with the official delegates , the leading committee of the FCI , the judges and the committee of organization ....(Mercure hotel /ARRAS)
